His mercy endureth forever-2

It is impossible to pass a day without the Mercy and Grace of God poured on us. Our Daily schedule incorporates this Divine menu in the list.To day we will see the other features of mercy. 

• It is new every morning:

The mercies of God are new every morning. Share all your tears, burdens,grief’s,and untold matters  at the feet of the Lord. God gives you a way out, and we are wondrously equipped to carry on anything for the day.
God's mercies have revived us and renewed us. What else we need.

"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion fails not.  they are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness."  Lamentations 3:21-22

• It is loaded with richness:

All wealth in this whole world cannot be compared with the mercy and grace of God.

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, Ephesians 2:4

• It Fills the earth:

 It is God who have completed the creation work meticulously the sky, earth, sea, rivers, mountains,of course all the living species-each one of them obey the regulations God gave them(expect humans)Yet God is gracious to us ie earth is filled with HIS Mercy.

"The earth, O LORD, is full of Your mercy;Teach me Your statutes Psalms 119:64.

• It is Manifold in nature:

"But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. Lamentations 3:32  

• It is Plentiful and Abundant:

“For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Psalms 86:5

The LORD is merciful and gracious,Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy Psalms 103:8

• It is Tender:

 "Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, Psalms 25:6

"Who redeems your life from destruction,Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Psalms 103:4

God’s mercy has a strong prospective ,which actually leads us through the life trauma.

"The Lord loves us very much. 
 So we haven't been completely destroyed. 
 His loving concern never fails." Lamentations 3:22

His mercy endureth forever!

“But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant,And to those who remember His commandments to do them.Psalm 103:17-18

God Almighty, the Father of Mercy and Grace, showers mercy on mankind.  Mercy is not only a feeling, but it is also a power to carry out relief and acquire a state of joy and comfort.

MERCY- unconditionally given by God , withholding the judgment, destruction, punishment and condemnation we deserve, because of our sinfulness. The wages of sin is death. If JESUS has not paid this penalty for us, we may not be living here, as we are now.

GRACE is purely an unearned gift given to His children by our heavenly Father. Though we are all sinners, Grace has been provided for  deliverance. God knows that the man He created would sin and be lawless.

The mercy of God, is a precious gem, which contains varied shine for each one of us.

• It is eternal and everlasting: 

The mercy of God is from everlasting to everlasting on people who fear Him. Fear for the God Almighty should come from the heart   and the feel that He is watching us , will save us from committing  sin.

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 107:1

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endures forever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endures forever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endures forever. To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endures forever. ... Psalm 136:1-26

• It is great. The Mercy of God is abundant in supply and unfailing.  How great that mercy must be, when we consider the depths and the heights, which has lifted us up. Go back and recount the situation, where you have been given unlimited mercy in times of need. Praise the Lord

“ For a small moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you. Isaiah 54:7

"Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reaches unto the clouds. Psalms 36:5

"For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Psalms 103:11

• The mercy is sovereign (supreme) and free. Mercy does not come to us, because we have done something extra ordinary, but it is due to us by God. 

“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion……. It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. Romans 9:9-15 

• It is particular.  God is not merciful to every one individual, but only to those whom He has chosen unto faith, obedience, and salvation.
• It is unchangeable.  ‘I AM THE LORD’   This is the only concept that never changes. He never removes His mercy from His children.

"Blessed be God Who has not turned away my prayer, 
Nor His mercy from me!  Psalm 66:20

His mercy endureth forever!

keep your eyes on Jesus

30 November 2011 powerless to face the world? keep your eyes on Jesus.

In our life style, public or personal, we have been targeted (purposefully or entangled by traps), we may seem to be blind, not able to seek a way out from the snare of dangers around us.

Our first thought is to seek help from God ,in all circumstances,lift your eyes to Him, for advice and direction; for help and protection; for comfort and assurance; for guidance and regulation; we have you trust on God.

 Learn to lift your eyes of your soul, for perfection of our faith, hope, peace, expectation, and desire. Put our trust in God, our heavenly Father and wait for our deliverance from heaven.

• “….. For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” Chronicles 20:12

The verses will reveals the desperate position of the heart and the intensity of faith in God Almighty for deliverance.

• "Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwells in the heavens.  Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. Psalms 123:1-2
• “My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. Psalm 25:15
• “My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2
•  'Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net Psalms 25:15
• 'I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help. My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalms 121:1-2
• "But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. Psalms 141:8

"Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth;

 for I am God, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:22

Problems we face today have roots in our past actions, our approaches that might have happened in that point of time, may have a trace in our life. We as humans are weak in the flesh and often we fall away from the statues of God . 


The constant communication with God and the reverence at heart, will keep us going, on to the righteous path.

• “The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. Isaiah 25:8

• “Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. Isaiah 50:7

• “…you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Joel2:26

• “I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, or let my enemies triumph over me. Psalm 25:2

• “I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

• “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace  you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. Isaiah 61:7

• “LORD, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. LORD, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.” 2 Chronicles 14:11

For God is greater than man.Job 32:12

When we belong to GOD we can live as a shameless person. BUT Bible warned us if you forsake the commandments of God you will be put to shame.

The following verses  warns us that if you turn away from God you will be left out of God’s care: 


Beware and do not take things for granted.

•  “Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you; for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land. Do not put the LORD your God to the test…” Deuteronomy 6:14-16

• “LORD, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame.Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water.Jeremiah17:13

• “An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends..Proverbs 18:1 

•  “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. Jeremiah17:5

• “I am too ashamed and disgraced, my God, to lift up my face to you, because our sins are higher than our heads and our guilt has reached to the heavens.” Ezra 9:6

Though you are slipped away from the presence of God, realize your mistake and come back. 

• Our God is Mighty and He is merciful and ready to forgive you.
• Turn around so that you can see a new world where terror and trouble will be removed. 
• Now it is time to have a showers of blessings

“In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. Isaiah 54:14

 “…..And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.”  Joel2:26

Daily in our life we are liable to face embarrassments, humiliations, dishonor, disgrace and degradations  because of varied causes (inclusive or exclusive). It has become the part of the day. But often it leaves a scar behind, obviously may have or lead to bad repercussion in life.

But our Father The Almighty has strongly affirmed that- “My people shall never be put to shame”. In that case ,Do you deserve such a protection? 
Let us see what we ought to be ,how to behave, and  to be shameless.

• those who have faith in God will not ashamed. Strong faith can shake the mountain like problems.

“As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”Romans10:11

“For in Scripture it says:“…. the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”1Peter2:6

• those who look up to God will not ashamed. If we seek human to solve our issues we will be at risk. Our help comes from the heavenly father.

“They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.” Psalm 34:5

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm121:1-2

"Of course when your sin are forgiven and you are saved,  then you will not ashamed But Israel shall be saved by the LORD With an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced Forever and ever.Isaiah 45:17

• If you remain in HIM you will not be ashamed

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.John15:4,7

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.1 John 2:28

Now Let us check with our personal profile for analysis. Where are we now? 
If at all we look up to God with faith and remain (cling on to Him) in Him we will lose our grace and mercy from God.

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…..My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.”  Joel2:26

The Lord will repay us for the years the locusts have eaten. In our life we have encountered looses in many ways. 


What are these "locusts" in our life? –it may be failures, disappointment, frustration, closed doors, always depressing situation, bad health,miserable family conditions, unemployment, let down feeling etc.

Lord promises us to bless us through a new green pastures ,where we can see double fold blessings. All our losses will be rewarded in His own time.  

• “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. Isaiah 54:4

It is a very strong and encouraging promise for God’s children. He will never leave His chosen people to be ashamed at any cast. God must have chosen you as a vessel for His purpose. You will be amazed to see the way in which you are chosen.

I like to share some verses from the Bible :   

• “…for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”Exodus 33:17

• “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; Jeremiah1:5

• But You are He who took Me out of the womb; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God.Psalm 22:9-10

• From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.I will ever praise you.Psalm71:6

• “Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely…..My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book Psalm 139:4-16 

• “…this is what the LORD says— he who created you, .... he who formed you, Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1-2

•  “….I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other;There is no God besides Me. Isaiah45;4

 'You are special' because the Lord Almighty has chosen you as His children and cared for you as a father.

• “….. in the wilderness. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.” Deuteronomy 1:31

• "I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4

 The way of the Lord is different. When we are created in a meticulous way by the creator He will never lets us down to face any  lose or to be ashamed.
