You may be have anxiety coupled with bewilderment about the new  year. God has a plan for you. We are ALL rolled up with number of resolutions.

“Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own”. Mathew 6:33-34

 No turning back or turning away hold on to the verse and.

Check by the year end and count your blessings. 

• Have a good start.

• Read your Bible regularly.

• Meditate diligently.

• Obey the truths willingly without hesitation.

• Pass them to others faithfully.

•  Then you will become better every day.

God has a plan for each one of us, to be performed as per  the blue print in His hands. Do not  run ahead on your own .Wait For a clear guidance and proceed.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11  

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17   

Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11

 “May the Lord bless you, and keep you;

May the Lord make His countenance shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

May the Lord turn His countenance to you and grant you peace. Numbers 6:24-26:

Move happily and carefully holding God’s hand. Trust in Him

Always with God we can start straight, keep straight and end up straight. 

 The starting point  is vital to the ending.

God says “we are more than conquerors.” Romans 8:37.

“If God is for us, who can be against us? .…... It is God who justifies.  the one who Christ Jesus who died—…who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  …in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 31-39

Let the love of God sustain us throughout this NEW YEAR 2012

“I will cry out to God Most High,
To God who performs all things for me. Psalm 57:2

We call out ( cry out ) to God in time of trouble and need. Sometimes such situation of trouble or need arises because God is trying to catch us to do His will. Mostly we want to carry out in our way or in our own style or perceptions.

With age and experience, with a better understanding of God’s will, we may learn to be more adaptable and get used to God’s way of solving the problems. God expects us to have a close relationship with Him. The promise verse has three things

• Call unto HIM-It is for you to make a call and pour out your heart to HIM. now be still to know the power of God.Surely God will listen with concern and do the needful as:

“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, 
   I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”Psalm 91:15-16

‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3

• He is the MOST HIGH (with none you can compare). Take HIM as your refuge and lock up all your confidential and unstated matters. Now be confident that you have just spokento the Almighty who has created the heaven and earth.

 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
  Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
  I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;

         My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2 

•   HE performs all things.( With God everything is possible) wind and sea obeys HIS words. God  performs all things for us.  Ask it will be given.

“The LORD will perfect that which concerns me;
         Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; 
         Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”Psalm 138:8

When God is with us you can be confident that none(evils) can dare touch you Praise the Lord.

“I have set the LORD always before me;

Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” Psalm 16:8

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012

1 January 2012  .

The old year 2011 has left behind- It has made a record and cannot be changed. Still lot of things we intend to change, of course  there is much (unsaid) neglected and we like to change, a lot of things  left undone( cannot be done), something to  regret and obviously a lot to cherish and grateful for.

God has blessed us and we are grateful to the Lord for what He has done.

People are habituated to make resolutions and often end up with regrets by the year end. “we are more than conquerors.” Romans 8:37. 

With God there is nothing to loose.

I like to post a promise verses for the year 2012.

 healthy,peaceful and a blessed new year.

Let God our Father fill you and your dear ones with joy and peace.

Turn around to check- Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord your God who has been with you throughout the year 2011- partaking in all our activities- in joy, sorrow, in conflicts , in tears and fears, in honor and  dishonor, in sickness ,in losses, sad times, depression etc (if you check the list is never ending for each one of us)

In all HE has been the nerve centre of our life. If we have been left on our own way….?...  (I really miss the words to describe the consequences)

• "Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, 

      Because His compassions fail not'.Lamentations 3:22

 An attempt has been made to review the various ways in which God is assisting us. I am sure it varies between individuals and cannot be contained in this blog. 

Some of the example I like to post here .

• ·         Mighty God  as revealed in HIS works.

“Since ancient times no one has heard, 
   no ear has perceived, 
no eye has seen any God besides you, 
   who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” Isaiah 64:4

·                     Ultimate care and concern

“ I have upheld since your birth, 
   and have carried since you were born. 

 Even to your old age and gray hairs 
   I am he, I am he who will sustain you. 
I have made you and I will carry you; 
   I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”Isaiah 46:13-14

·                     Full protection

“For he will command his angels concerning you 
   to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11

·                     Sustained support

“…upheld by Me from birth, 
      Who have been carried from the womb: 
      Even to your old age, I am He, 
      And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
      I have made, and I will bear; 
      Even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:3-4

·                     Constant watch

“the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.  ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil…… the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today;  and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God,….. Deuteronomy 11:11-28

·                     Affirmation during enemy’ attack

“You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven” Deuteronomy28:6-7

·                     Confirmation of HIS presence

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

·                     Protection and peace in your borders

“For He has strengthened the bars of your gates;
         He has blessed your children within you.
  He makes peace in your borders,
         And fills you with the finest wheat.Psalm 147:13-14

·                     Mighty hand in the days of your life

“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.  Be strong and courageous…Joshua 1:5

·                     Perfect guide

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; 
   I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8

            “Bless the LORD, O my soul;
              And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
                 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
                   And forget not all His benefits: Psalm 103:1-2
