A strong and a strange question always pokes our mind - how the wicked people enjoy their life with all comforts and blessings?
While the righteous (nobody is perfect – yet washed in the blood of Jesus-we are afraid to do or attempt for evils) the man always faces problems and sufferings.
- “..how can a man be righteous before God? Job 9:2
Wicked people were mean and bad; mostly they delight in doing mischief. They are greedy of the world, because they find that all the riches flow upon them directly. They plot evil plans (ways of doing mischief) on good people (whom they hate for their goodness and reputation).
- “those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice”.Isaiah 29:21
They prosper in such wicked course of actions and therefore their hearts are hardened. They have become great in the world; rich and prosper and thrive upon.
Pride and arrogance dominate their activities and we cannot find even a trace of mercy or compassion.
Bible quotes about the wicked as:
- “They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills. Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence. From their callous hearts comes iniquity, their evil imaginations have no limits. They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression. Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth.” Psalm 73:5-9.
When they have become great, got authority and power in their hands, yet they fail to make use of that for doing good to others.
And nevertheless they prosper still; even the worst men has the best things. (almost rich) however we are not suppose to assume that, because they prosper, God allows their practices. Definitively not, they will receive their sentence (not executed speedily) against their evil works it will be effected.
There was general corruption of all orders and degrees, seen everywhere. Power politics dominate and we can see the trace and the shadow of evil things spread all over.
- “Should I not punish them for this?” declares the LORD. Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this? Jeremiah5:29
- “A horrible and shocking thing…. . But what will you do in the end? (Jeremiah. 5:30, 31)
God will protect you.
“The LORD reigns,… he sits enthroned between the cherubim.....Psalm 99:1
God be with you
