Day to day errands always leave a trail behind. Life is filled with a 'combo package' of delights and distress. Practically the lower layer of people are tossed and eventually vanished. Anguish(agony) may be occur naturally or carefully tailored. Amidst all God is the only refuge during distress, to relieve and comfort us.
“For You have been a strength to the poor,
A strength to the needy in his distress,
A refuge from the storm,
A shade from the heat;
For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Isaiah 25:4

Anything(evil things) being constantly planned and targeted on (us) people, in a row, they(we) may lose their(our) hope and strength, loaded by the heaviness of the evil things.
Naturally we may resort for human counseling and guidance or may take extreme step of ending life.
