Authority of God

 People crave for power and authority, which  are presumed to be the natural longing of a person- as long as it is contained to a limit. 

Since we are enticed by the evil power (satan) this longing for power ,may be devastating leading to lots of consequences.

 Any authority or power or position  - any such things  (you name it) are topically controlling our mind . 

 BUT  authority has been given graciously by God to those who obey and love God.(refers to Gods children).

 “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established….. The authorities that exist have been established by God. …..…Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. Romans 13:1-5

 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19

Do not misuse the authority. 

You are accountable to God ,

Don’t even think about the misappropriation of authority at any cost. 

These small authority is meaningless when we see the omnipotent power of the Lord Almighty  who has the  control over the  universe.

These verses are given to enlighten us that we are feeble beings, subjected to the Grace And control of the Almighty.

•         God has control over the environment

“The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him !” Mathew 8:27

•          God has control over the devil

“The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” Mathew 8:31

•          God has power to forgive our sin

“But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” . Mathew 9:6

•         God has control over the disease

“….he said to the paralysed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” Then the man got up and went home. Mathew 9:6

All are beyond human thinking and abilities.
 Do not boost about the power you are given to serve the society or else do not misuse the same for personal benefits.

Let your mind be clear. Do not  even long to have power.

See what God has given you as a privilege.

 Praise God , because  we are his Children and given power to call Him as ‘Abba Father’.

So we have been given  the status of Prince and Princess of the king .

What Else you need in this world.
