Right hand of God

Placing God before us,  for whatever we do or wherever we go( is nothing else) than to keep all our senses bound and confined, - it means that we may not ‘off- track’ or ‘run ahead of’ and go astray after any other thing.(mostly the temptations).

 Keeping the mind so carefully fixed upon  God,  will please God to help us during distress.

Read  Psalm 77-verses 1-15- (selected verses):

It focuses on the desperate cry for help and waiting for the power of the right hand of God to perform a miracle. 

“I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me. ….. I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted.

 “Will the Lord reject forever?

 Will he never show his favor again?

 Has his unfailing love vanished forever?

  Has his promise failed for all time?

 Has God forgotten to be merciful?

  Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”

 Then I thought, ……. the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.  I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.

 I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

 Your ways, God, are holy. 

What god is as great as our God?
 You are the God who performs miracles; 
you display your power among the peoples.
 With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, …..”. Psalm 77:7-15

• “I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8

• “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:1

Take this assurance and trust in the Lord ( specially during anguish and agony.)

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand…….

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you". Psalm17:10-13
