Nature's blessing. Falls gushes out
@ Munnar-Kerala
26 October 2011

Life is filled with complexities and tight spots - some can be understood and some remain as a mystery forever. We may ponder many things to seek a way out, yet unknown remains as mysterious.

But when you read the Bible and take heed to the voice of God, mysterious thing will be easily solved. The word of God is so powerful and it can do simply anything. Believe, it will be done.
  • “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
  • "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? Jeremiah 23:29
  • “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”. 2 Timothy 3:16
  • Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Here is an instruction for you: Teachings may differ. The thoughts and interpretations may be flashing matters beyond our understanding or contradictory and has a conflicting thoughts.

As we have learnt to hear the voice of God and felt the touch of His hand.  you need not have a wavering mind. so read the following:
·         Rejoice always,
  •           Pray without ceasing,
  •           in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you
  •           Do not quench the Spirit.
  •           Do not despise prophecies.
  •          Test all things; hold fast what is good.
  •          Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22

Benefits of Meditating -To perform good deeds

Golden yellow Passion fruit @ Kodaikanal

25 October 2011
Good deeds are spontaneous acts of kindness, accommodation, generosity, charity, assistance, help -all performed with the simple intention of being helpful and no expectation for compensation of any kind.

We do certain things in order to gain popularity but intentions  for doing good things varies per person’s inner thoughts.
Bible teaches us straightly what we should do.

  • "Take care! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired, because then you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.  When you give a gift to someone in need, don't shout about it as the hypocrites do -- blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity. I assure you, they have received all the reward they will ever get.  But when you give to someone, don't tell your left hand what your right hand is doing.  Give your gifts in secret, and your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you. Matthew 6:1-5
  • “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”.Colossians 3:17

Some times when we do good deeds, we are targeted in wrong sense and hurt to the core from the way they behave or when they talk.
  • “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up”. Galatians 6:9

When you have compassion try to go about your way  that what God expects from you.
  • “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8

“In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good deeds and
praise your Father in heaven”. Matthew 5:16

Benefits of Meditating- God’s promises to strengthen us.

24 October 2011
We face problems, afflictions, agony, sufferings, and hardships in our daily life. Nobody in this world is without a problem of one or other.

We need strength, power, faith, endurance, and patience, to overcome all. Sometimes everything seems to go against our desires, wishes and even prayers.

Obviously, a number of questions crop up our mind.
  •       Whether the trials are the result of sin committed by us?
  •    Why does God allow trials, worries, anxieties, and difficulties?
  •  Should we blame God and turn from Him?
  •  Can troubles and suffering actually make us better and have faith in   God?
  •  As humans is it possible to faithfully endure all our difficulties?
  •   What are the solutions the Bible give us to help overcome our problems?
  •   How can I trust God? Will He speak to me? etc

God wants you to have a confidence in His strengthening power, no matter what the situation or the circumstances goes. Even when you are weak, HE can be strong in you. This strength comes to those who have a strong urge to follow God's path and His words.
  •         "How blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee."Psalm 84:5

And God wants to give you His strength, in an abundant supply. But God's ways and thoughts are higher than man's –
  •         “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. (Isaiah 55:8,9)
  •      God “gives power and strength to his people." (Psalm 68:35)
God's purpose is to strengthen you, and to give you power in His own ways.
  •      be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power”. (Ephesians 6:10).
  •      "The way of the Lord is strength to the upright." (Prov.10:29)
  •     "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.." (Isaiah 41:10,)
  •     "be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy.2: 1).
  •    "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us " (Romans.8:37)
  •   "The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
  •    “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.., " (Isaiah 30:15 ).
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians.4:13).

Benefits of Meditating- Serve as a sword against evil spirit and other evil things

Pansy Flowers @ Kodaikanal-TamilNadu
23 October 2011
Satan and his demons are real and they are very active today, to destroy the souls. They take charge of bad people and play a lot of tricks to blind people (spiritually) and take them to hell. Maybe you may know someone who practices witchcraft or affected by such evils and not able to come out of it.
According to the Bible, angels and evil spirits are real. Satan, also called Lucifer, or the Devil, is the leader of the evil spirits. All evil spirits were originally good angels created by God. However, about a third of the angels chose to become evil. They decided to follow Lucifer, a very powerful angel, in a rebellion against God.
For further reference:(Isaiah 14:12-15.Ezekiel 28:12-17. Luke 10:18.Revelation 12:3-9).

Our God is a God of  Sovereignty. God's Word clearly reveals that God is actually all-powerful and sovereign Lord. Hence there is no need to be worried or dismayed. God will take care.

be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:10-17
  • Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
  • “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19

Relax. Your Father is there to uphold you in all circumstances.

  • “…..the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1. John 4:4

Benefits of Meditating- Receive warnings

22 October 2011
We are constantly being warned from young age, are repeatedly told to “BE CAREFUL” by our parents, because  they wants us to be safe and not to make our life miserable. They loved us and  want us to be away from any harm or hurts. we have come across many  warning words such as: “BE CAREFUL” “Look both sides before crossing the road” or “Don’t talk to strangers”. “Always be careful in all your dealings”. “Watch out always “- they are from our loves ones.
we come across many warning in the world- For threat of storms, fires, earthquakes, hurricanes ,flood, tsunami, and the list goes…..Everywhere We come across warnings to heed, because they are put up for a reason.

Warning varies ,there are the verbal and non-verbal warnings. Various forms of body language serve as a warning too. Often warnings are spoken. Some are amusing; others pathetic and even disgusting. It is designated a potential source of danger.

God’s Word is full of various “WARNINGS”. we should have an immediate flashing light go off in our mind. God specifically warns us from many things-anger, Astrology, Divination and Sorcery, idol worship, adultery etc

God willing we will deal with warnings later. Read the verses to protect your soul.It is end time warning.
  • “Today we are living in a period of time like the days of Noah when there is no fear of God before men’s eyes. Romans. 3:18.
  • Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. 1 Corinthians  10:11
  • Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. Romans 13:11
  • Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:34;
  • “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:14;
  • “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28

We are hearing warnings from all sectors of our society. There are health warnings, terrorist warnings, economic warnings, weather warnings, and end-of-the-world warnings.

  • Should we heed these warnings?

Benefits of Meditating- Cleansing us from sin

21 October 2011
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness1.John 1:9
Forgiveness and cleansing from sin results from confession of our sins, the blood of Jesus Christ is responsible for cleansing us from sin.

How we are cleansed is not dependent upon our actions (confession), but based upon the Grace of Jesus Christ.  The answer is clear to the question-why we should confess our sins?-confession is not done for forgiveness alone, but for our own good - to heal from the consequences of sin.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. (James 5:16)

Confession is important, it helps to heal us from the effects of sin and restores our relationship with God. Forgiveness and cleansing are both  done through the blood of Jesus. Cleansing effected  through the Word--the Word testifies of the blood and of the power of God.

  • God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. l John 1:5-10.
The ONLY way we are purified of sin is that we walk in the light and maintain an open relationship with Him. a lifestyle of repentance.

  • “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
Read this. Wait on the Lord and He will set you free.

  •  I waited patiently for the LORD;  he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him. Psalm 40:1-3.

  • "You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you". John 15:3
  • "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting". PSALM 139:23-24

Benefits of Meditating- wisdom and wise understanding

20 October 2011
Wisdom is the most precious treasure ever known for human race
  • "Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor." (Proverbs 3:13-16)
The knowledge in the world cannot substitute wisdom.
  • "….. if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2:1-6)
Wisdom allows us to discover the true knowledge and proper understanding of God.

  •  “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways” (James 1:5-8).
  • Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual,  demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy” (James 3:13-17).
Solomon asked God for knowledge, understanding, and wisdom  and it was all  granted to him. True wisdom comes from righteousness and truth. This is because real wisdom benefits all people. Wickedness  and unkindness will be of no use to anyone. You cannot learn wisdom, understanding, leadership qualities from the evil rulers of the world, nor from the morally corrupt person.
Only through God’s commandments can we obtain wisdom.Godly wisdom cannot be learned apart from God. It is super powerful and pure, and none of our imagination could reach it.
Therefore, it is God’s law which teaches men godly wisdom .This law is referred to as God’s wisdom. The only measuring rod for your wisdom and your maturity ,you only need to measure and assess your words. The condition of our hearts can be revealed  through the words we speak.

  • “The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back. Isaiah 50:4-5
