you have suffered a while- you need strength-II

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1. Peter 5:10

In general when we suffer, a question pops our mind-

  • Why God has allowed these trials, worries, anxieties, and difficulties?
  • Will the troubles and suffering actually make me a refined person in Christ?
  • Is it possible for me to endure the difficulties patiently?
  •  When will I walk in straight path away from such hitches?
"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Though we are targeted always, for no reason, crushed to humiliate us or even degrading through their actions, make us feel embarrassed and looked down by their scornful behavior, it is our bound duty to be patient before God, and go through that silently. Remember We are not the losers but they are.

Grain must be ground to make bread;
so one does not go on threshing it forever.
The wheels of a threshing cart may be rolled over it,
but one does not use horses to grind grain.
All this also comes from the LORD Almighty,
   whose plan is wonderful,
whose wisdom is magnificent". Isaiah 28:28

The above verse consoles us saying we will not be taken to task by these evil people always and at all times. Troubles are short lived. Go about your chosen path and  at the end we can see a beautiful remedy waiting for us. You can feel the gentle touch of God caring you through these troubles in a peaceful way. Nothing you are going to loose in this period but on the contrary you are going under stand the working of God Almighty.

Praise the Lord

GOD BLESS

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1. Peter 5:10

Everyone has troubles,Obstacles, Challenges and Problems. We face very often problems, affliction, suffering, and hardship. Life seems to be filled with a never-ending sequence of them, Whether it is physical  financial, material, health, family, work,  etc all of these hamper our success and happiness.

Life's problems have no boundaries. Rich or poor, old or young, educated or uneducated, we all experience the trials and tribulations of daily life. The fact that you're a Christian, does not mean that you are problem-free. Bible clearly tells us,
“….. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”John 16:33.
It is a affirmative promise about the life with Christ in this world.

On the contrary, as Christians we have some unique challenges that others may not have .“However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.” 1Peter4:16

The Bible teaches us that “in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved usRomans 8:37.
Whenever we are faced with impossibilities and overwhelming condition in life, it is always the smart to turn to God, We need strength, endurance, and patience to overpower the situation. we have a strong promise to cling on and claim it in your prayer. The devil will flee from you.
  • “.the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John4:4
  • "My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. John 17:16

God of all grace

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”1. Peter 5:10
“God of all grace.” this concept stresses that God is known as “the God of all comfort.” God’s grace is complete, comprehensive and universal. It means that God has a plan or a sketch or a blue-print for every situation that we face in life. Every problem we may encounter God has a solution for it. Nothing seems to be difficult for God. If you trust and obey God and His words, definitely His unfailing Grace will support and carry you through.

God has all kinds of grace for any situation or circumstances,  that we may face. God ‘s grace will comfort us in its quality and excellence. None in the world can compromise that.
  • “….God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an  abundance for every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
  • “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).

Humble yourself before God and He gives grace to the humble and He resists the proud. God’s grace is unique and complete known as ‘God’s full provision’ which is enough for our suffering. God provides for any emergency or unforeseen things we may face or we are facing now.

We are often not conscious and aware of our needs. We may consider  one thing ,whereas we need something else. We think God must solve our problems instantaneously, when we pray or ask some thing.

Problem solving is not the decisive factor or our highest point. What we really need is the grace of God to sustain us through our crisis. Sometimes the highest good is God’s glory that sustains us in our suffering. We glorify God by making known to others how He sustained us in our predicament.

As Christians  we can go right into  the Heavenly Headquarters for God’s grace. They need no middleperson and  no black marketing  on grace. We have the right to go  and ask God straight. God’s grace is adequate for us no matter what our dilemma or pain.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16).
God provides grace for the non-Christian. God offers people salvation through Christ with no strings attached.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8).

“My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Sustenance of God’s Grace amidst our troubles

“.... may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1. Peter 5:10
Often we may be aware of a limitation in our personality or a lot of burden in life and want to overcome it, but failed in our attempt. Such a condition may warrant us to improve on our own, but we may end in discouraging and frightening situation. when we seek God’s help, we will have the greatest power in existence on our side.

Is anything too hard for the Lord?” Genesis 18:14.

Our God is Omnipotent-(All-ruling-Almighty)Omnipresent-(present everywhere at the same time) Omniscient(having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or perceive all things.)

The Bible tells us that God does perceive all things, which means that no fact can be hidden from His knowledge, everything remains bare and open.
Jesus Christ said clearly that “with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
  • Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles”. 2 Corinthians 1:3

The Bible states that God is All Knowing and All Powerful, and has an infinite understanding, which is beyond human knowledge. Only the Grace, from God can sustain us from the evil powers of the world.
  • "He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite." Psalm 147:4-5

God’s grace is comprehensive and universal for any kind of help or need of any believer at any time.
  • When a disaster or troubles comes upon you, what are the resource you can draw upon and trust? or
  • On whom will you take solace for your tribulations?

.... God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Stop for a moment and think.
Seek Jesus and He will show you the way.

I am the good shepherd

Morning Glory in full bloom
@ Kodaikanal-Tamil Nadu
27 October 2011
A shepherd is a in person engaged in tending, feeding and guarding the sheep. Sheep are completely dependent on the shepherd, to take them to where there is food and water, and to protect them from wolves and other dangers. As a sheep (we) in Jesus' flock, need not fear about anything, for God has never lost a sheep that was placed in His care. Praise the Lord.

  • I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. ……. … I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. ……The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—… No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”John10:11-18
  • My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.  I and the Father are one.”John10:11-30
Being a member in God's family, He will sure to uphold you and will take care of you gently in all circumstances. Develop a confidence and move forward. God is right there, when you call upon Him.

  • "He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arms and carry them in his bosom and gently lead the mother sheep with those that have young." Isaiah 40:11
  • “Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture." Psalm 100: 3
  • “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
  • We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).
  • “… the shepherd of God's people: He will feed his flock like a shepherd, he will gather the lambs in his arms (Isaiah 40:11).
Jesus made three promises to us.
  •              He promised everlasting life.
  •         If we accept him and follow him, we will have life with no ending and will not perish- indestructible life.
  •        Life with full security nobody will snatch us out of his hand. Our lives are safe in his hands.
Praise God and move about and nothing will disturb us.

Benefits of Meditating -To know the right teaching of the Gospel

Nature's blessing. Falls gushes out
@ Munnar-Kerala
26 October 2011

Life is filled with complexities and tight spots - some can be understood and some remain as a mystery forever. We may ponder many things to seek a way out, yet unknown remains as mysterious.

But when you read the Bible and take heed to the voice of God, mysterious thing will be easily solved. The word of God is so powerful and it can do simply anything. Believe, it will be done.
  • “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
  • "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? Jeremiah 23:29
  • “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”. 2 Timothy 3:16
  • Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Here is an instruction for you: Teachings may differ. The thoughts and interpretations may be flashing matters beyond our understanding or contradictory and has a conflicting thoughts.

As we have learnt to hear the voice of God and felt the touch of His hand.  you need not have a wavering mind. so read the following:
·         Rejoice always,
  •           Pray without ceasing,
  •           in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you
  •           Do not quench the Spirit.
  •           Do not despise prophecies.
  •          Test all things; hold fast what is good.
  •          Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22

Benefits of Meditating -To perform good deeds

Golden yellow Passion fruit @ Kodaikanal
Tamil Nadu

25 October 2011
Good deeds are spontaneous acts of kindness, accommodation, generosity, charity, assistance, help -all performed with the simple intention of being helpful and no expectation for compensation of any kind.

We do certain things in order to gain popularity but intentions  for doing good things varies per person’s inner thoughts.
Bible teaches us straightly what we should do.

  • "Take care! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired, because then you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.  When you give a gift to someone in need, don't shout about it as the hypocrites do -- blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity. I assure you, they have received all the reward they will ever get.  But when you give to someone, don't tell your left hand what your right hand is doing.  Give your gifts in secret, and your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you. Matthew 6:1-5
  • “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”.Colossians 3:17

Some times when we do good deeds, we are targeted in wrong sense and hurt to the core from the way they behave or when they talk.
  • “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up”. Galatians 6:9

When you have compassion try to go about your way  that what God expects from you.
  • “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8

“In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good deeds and
praise your Father in heaven”. Matthew 5:16

GOD BLESS YOU

Benefits of Meditating- God’s promises to strengthen us.

24 October 2011
We face problems, afflictions, agony, sufferings, and hardships in our daily life. Nobody in this world is without a problem of one or other.

We need strength, power, faith, endurance, and patience, to overcome all. Sometimes everything seems to go against our desires, wishes and even prayers.

Obviously, a number of questions crop up our mind.
  •       Whether the trials are the result of sin committed by us?
  •    Why does God allow trials, worries, anxieties, and difficulties?
  •  Should we blame God and turn from Him?
  •  Can troubles and suffering actually make us better and have faith in   God?
  •  As humans is it possible to faithfully endure all our difficulties?
  •   What are the solutions the Bible give us to help overcome our problems?
  •   How can I trust God? Will He speak to me? etc

God wants you to have a confidence in His strengthening power, no matter what the situation or the circumstances goes. Even when you are weak, HE can be strong in you. This strength comes to those who have a strong urge to follow God's path and His words.
  •         "How blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee."Psalm 84:5

And God wants to give you His strength, in an abundant supply. But God's ways and thoughts are higher than man's –
  •         “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. (Isaiah 55:8,9)
  •      God “gives power and strength to his people." (Psalm 68:35)
God's purpose is to strengthen you, and to give you power in His own ways.
  •      be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power”. (Ephesians 6:10).
  •      "The way of the Lord is strength to the upright." (Prov.10:29)
  •     "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.." (Isaiah 41:10,)
  •     "be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy.2: 1).
  •    "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us " (Romans.8:37)
  •   "The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
  •    “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.., " (Isaiah 30:15 ).
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians.4:13).

Praise the Lord.GOD BLESS.
