Waiting on the Lord

10 December 2011
We used to walk with God daily, amidst our weaknesses and strengths. Naturally we expect answers for our prayers. The closer we get to God, we realise the fact that God is not in hurry to answer our prayers. There is no hurrying in heaven,   ‘cause everything works with calculated speed and purpose (as per the blue print God has for everyone).

Waiting on God is not praying and walking away, it is to fix our eyes on God,   something which has an undistracted focus, until God has mercy on us.

Waiting on God may be the most difficult of all the spiritual disciplines .Just sitting in his presence and gazing and waiting for an answer. Such a person will not be doing anything hastily in life.

Waiting on God is the special process through which the Lord position our eyes to turn to Him for help in times of need. You will never be struck with panic and later "be ashamed", for irrelevant causes.

"Whoever believes will not act hastily" Isaiah 28:16.
“the one who believes in him will never be put to shame” Romans 9:33,
“I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

Waiting on God actually done with humbleness and utmost eagerness linked with believe.
“Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
So our eyes look to the LORD our God,
Until He has mercy on us. Psalm 123:2

“My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare Psalm 25:15

"But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge” Psalm 141:8

Waiting will never go waste, because you have fixed your eyes upon God. The lives of God’s children will be transformed as:

“those who wait on the LORD
      Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 43:31
“…let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 1 Thessalonians 5:8

“….. Blessed are all who wait for him! Isaiah 30:18

Wait on the Lord .Walk with the Lord.

Move to a  peaceful  life.
God bless
