Watch your Actions

2 September 2011

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Our actions are the public expression with a clear-cut Communication, it does not occur through words alone. Communication is behavior which someone interprets as manner of telling a message. We speak with our posture, gestures and with a tone. All almost any action we take almost all  our communications are non-verbal.Actions really do speak louder than words!

Actions may be what we really believe and value. Commonly in life, with God-given potential, we will be  doing the work  either for  ourselves, or for the benefit of the society which makes us busy  always. Their actions speak louder than their words.

In order to succeed  in life we may move forward   with  an unstoppable and  relentless determination, coupled with an unyielding tenacity and persistence that, we will accomplish the goals that God has placed in their heart! “We instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus….. that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable.”(1 Thessalonians 4:1,5.)

The way we conduct ourselves in more important than the way we speak to others. We are made known by our actions.Even small children are known by their actions, so is their conduct really pure and upright?”(Proverbs 20:11).A right kind of  attitude in trials that yields maturity, endurance produces perseverance, maturity  having stood the test, your reward of the crown of life” ( James1:2-4, 12)

God hates hypocrisy (double-standard) and pretense in our dealings.
  • Be open-minded. God sees your heart.
  • Your thoughts which transforms into action must be a ‘pucca-proof’ to reveal, what you are intended to do in action.“Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity   and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace.”( II Corinthians 1:12)
  • Let your heart be pleasing in the sight of God.But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander” (1Peter 3:15.)
  • Lean not your own understanding. Keep away from all your hidden attitude against others .“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? …. In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead…. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless. (James 2:14,17,20 ).
  •  Authentic and genuine faith is a faith that works into action.”This is a trustworthy saying……those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.”( Titus 3:8)
  • The actions of men interprets their thoughts and  often  it precedes the feeling. One's action ought to come out of an achieved stillness, and not to be a mere rushing on. Do it now. Then it's done. “Commit your work to the Lord, then it will succeed. --,”( Proverbs 16:3) Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen…….Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.(Ephesians 4:29-32) And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”(Colossians 3:17)

Jesus Christ himself ….gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,  encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word”.( 2 Thessalonians 2:17). “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
God warns us clearly whoever you are,  if you have a dubious mind linked with filthy actions, the Lord Almighty will reward you, according to your deeds.
  • Try to inculcate clean thoughts and purified mind
  • Ask God to help you with His unfailing love and mercy. “guard your heart for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.”( Proverbs  4:23-27) “For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths”( Proverbs 5:21)

“I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” (Jeremiah 17:10)

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”(Mathew 5:16)

“Look, I am coming soon!
My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. ( Revelation 22:11)
