God-Controlled Thinking

It is critical, to be aware of, to recognize and to grasp the sinful thoughts as they come in. We must learn to refuse the negative thoughts, reject them, and destroy them by giving them to God.

We must recognize that we are constantly in a war field (mind battle) and when we control our thinking ,our life pattern will be streamlined automatically. We will win the battle.

  • “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
So be careful always and at all times.Understand your attitude and the essential steps to renew your mind.

For God controlled life, learn to change your attitude. hope the following will be of help:
  •   Presenting our bodies as living sacrifices to God. (in terms of purity in heart and mind- have a clean  thinking.)
  •   Denying  the self–centered thoughts (ego- our own thoughts, emotions  desires and wishes).
  • Knowing the will of God ( it is tough to obey God's will 'cause we are mixed- up with our own desires)
  •   Obeying God's Will (implicit obedience and doing exactly what He has asked us to do. No wavering in mind.).
  •   Take out all captive thoughts ( no place for emotion and sentiments)
  •   Count the blessings you have received.
  •   No turning back. Move forward holding God's hand.
  • Believe that with Jesus everything is possible.
  • "I beseech you therefore, brethren...be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1-2)
  • Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9

Let God give us strength to face and rule out the negative thoughts.
